During the Academic Year 2024–25, the First Year Engineering Department celebrated National Science Day. National Science Day is observed in India on February 28 each year to commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by Indian physicist Sir C. V. Raman on February 28, 1928. On this auspicious occasion, the department organized a poster presentation competition for the students. The winners were awarded certificates and prize money.
